About our Alpaca Farm
Faraway Farm is home to a select herd of exceptional alpacas, all with gorgeous fleece, exemplary conformation and lovely, engaging personalities. We breed and sell the finest quality alpacas and our farm store stocks a wide range of items made from their luxurious fleece.
Sitting on a hilltop in Westchester County, overlooking the rolling hills surrounding the Hudson River valley, Faraway Farm is the perfect environment for raising alpacas. Our goal is to raise happy, healthy alpacas of outstanding quality. We take pride in giving our animals the utmost care through solid nutrition, a clean, healthy living environment, and conscientious individualized care.
Our alpacas carry the bloodlines of some of the country’s most sought after genetics, including offspring of Bueno, Royal Fawn, Hemingway, Caligula, Macusani, Vengador, Legacy Gold, Snowmass Invincible, El Senor and Danko.
We sell our homegrown yarns and wonderfully soft alpaca garments in our on-site and online stores.
Located in the historic Hudson Valley region of New York state, only one hour from Manhattan, we welcome visitors by appointment.
