About our Alpaca Farm
We, as early pioneers in the alpaca industry and one of the founding members of AOBA, welcome you to our site. The Grand Alpaca Company founded 26 years ago is located on 44 beautiful acres in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where we have developed 11 pastures and 13 barns specifically designed for our herd of 100+ Huacaya alpacas.
We are a family owned alpaca business, channeling our energies toward helping other alpaca enthusiasts start and develop the alpaca experience and lifestyle that we have been so fortunate to enjoy. We raise and care for the animals ourselves; therefore, knowing the names, behavior and disposition of each of our animals, as well as, their lineage. Through careful breeding analysis and selection, our efforts have resulted in an excellent gene pool and breeding program. Through superior breeding, our herd is of high quality with proven lineage with all 22 shades of the alpaca color spectrum represented.
We invite our new clients to spend as much time as they desire at our ranch, covering every aspect of the alpaca business, from breeding to marketing. All alpaca purchases come with 60 days free board. Females are sold with a free breeding to one of our Grand Herdsires and come with full reproductive and live birth guarantees.
