We have experience with other livestock, too. Miniature horses are available for viewing and for sale. Vermillea's Desperado is available for stud service if you want to add Buckeroo or Little King bloodlines to your herd.
Gorgeous color, great genetics, good bone structure.... willing machos! Our Jack Daniels is proven, and offers a compact frame and excellent coverage. Derwydd Inti-Hatun has consistant dense coverage, great crimp, density and beautiful rich dark brown colored fiber. Think of what they could add to YOUR herd - Step UP your herd's fiber production!
Need help designing a small ranch? Call us for assistance, Larry is quite good at setting up a working barn and fencing designed to make chores faster and easier to do. Lots of fence building and pasture preparation going on here - with ten acres now, it is a lot of fun to watch the babies and juveniles pronk and enjoy the grass! We now have enough room to seed pastures, let some rest and still have space to spare. Gain "on the job" experience. Come on out and join in on the fun - fence building, barn set up and creating a fiber room/farm store.
Maureen's degree in genetics from UC Davis plus Larry's degree in accounting from Chico State give a unique dimension to our ranch. We also have experience in animal nutrition from years of working for a major research facility.
In addition, Photography is another passion - and alpacas and their owners make great subjects. We offer photography packages for your ranch and/or animals.
