About our Alpaca Farm
Welcome to Sweet Water Alpaca Ranch
Nestled in the foothills above Los Angeles we get the cooling winds in the summer and an occational snow flurry in the winter. I fell in love with alpacas at first sight and bought my first animals a few months later. My son and daughter-in-law, Lamine and Alexis soon joined the venture. After retiring from my high pressure corporate job I now devote my full time to the ranch giving the alpacas 24/7 attention.
Customer Service - I take great pride in passing on my knowledge and experience to my clients. Their questions are always welcome. Being a mid-size ranch I have plenty of hands-on experience and my years with the alpacas have given me a broad range of knowledge.
Breeding - Our studs SW Inca Bronze , our dark brown Champion and our white Rock Me Amadeus, produced their first crop of crias last fall and they are exceptional! This fall the stud row will include our young black male SW Perfect Storm who is taking the show-rings by storm! You can bring your females to us or if the distance is not too far we can come to you for that special rendevous.
Boarding - If you don't have the space or time yourself, you can board your alpacas here and we'll give them the same care as our own animals. We'll take care of birthing and breeding and the regular care such as vaccinations and worming etc. And we will make both you and your animals feel at home at the ranch!
Sale - Many of our alpacas have taken home top ribbons from the show ring. We have a broad range of alpacas offered for sale including all colors from white to black and we will work with you to get the right one for you. If you just want to come and look and experience the alpacas we'll welcome that as well. Chances are though that you'll fall in love with them just like I did!

Wether you are an experienced breeder or a newcomer to alpacas we welcome your visit. The ranch is only 45 minutes away from central Los Angeles and very easy to reach. Please, come and visit and I will be glad to show my animals and facilities.
