Boasting success in fleece and halter shows combined with a history of satisfied customers, we offer knowledge and advice, as well as a choice group of huacaya alpacas to enhance or build your herd.
Crossing robust Peruvian and Chilean bloodlines has been the basis and success of our breeding program. We consistently produce healthy and vigorous show quality alpacas with competitive fleeces.
Our goals for fiber are to produce crimp (curve measurements close to 40 - OFDA 2000 testing), as well as fineness (1st year fleeces of 16 to 19 micron). We are also seeking density, bundling and staple length for lofty fluffy fleeces.
We breed for rich beautiful colors, Fawn to Black, as well as fleeces with vicuna shading, roaning and fading. And, a few years ago we added gray genetics to our herd. Some of our genetic lines are from the Aysen herd importation, known for color and fineness.
