October 2011 update -Godric is now a 2 time Color Champion! His juvie fleece won Black Color Champion at TxOLAN, and his yearling fleece got 1st Place and Dark Reserve Champion at the Mid-America Alpaca Show 2011. This boy has been outstanding since the day he was born. He gets attention wherever he goes. He's as black as night, large, solid boned with great conformation and a perfect bite. His fleece is bright with a high frequency crimp and a long staple length. When he won his first blue ribbon at barely one year of age, he was the youngest but biggest boy in his class. All the judge's comments were very favorable including the fact that he was "very well endowed". His champion sire, Misty Ridge's Silver Quest, brings the genetics of Caligula and Camilio, as well as many generations of grey including The Rebel and Ross. His dam is our beautiful Fabulicious, who has passed on her outstanding presence, great conformation and fine fleece to all her offspring, and every one is a show winner. This side of Godric's family tree also brings Colorado Mezcal, Peruvian Drambuie and SA Karrington into the mix. Godric has a commanding presence and is polite with people, which is a really nice combination. We wouldn't list him for sale except for the fact that we have a very small herd and he's related to a lot of our girls. Give us a call and come see him for yourself. He always makes a good impression.

SIRE Misty Ridge's Silver Quest

Color: Medium Silver Grey   ARI# 30549388    CLAA#

This outstanding male carries exceptional bloodlines from both sides of his family tree, from the Royal Accoyo bloodlines of both Accoyo Caligula & Peruvian Accoyo Pluro. Like his sire Pacific Crest's Caligula's Excalibur, Silver Quest has a beautiful head & a body frame that is large, broad-chested, & well-balanced, with color consistency as well as fiber fineness & spectacular uniformity. Like his dam Katalina in the Mist he displays a gorgeous grey color, continuing a long line of grey & lavender rose grey genetics extending back at least 5 generations. Silver Quest also has a wonderful disposition, very calm & always easy to work with.

DAM Fabulicious

Color: Dark Fawn   ARI# 1388060    CLAA#

With her beautiful vicuna coloring and her outstanding presence, Fabby always gets noticed in a crowd. She has a super fine, and very dense fleece with a high frequency crimp and a really nice handle and brightness. She's also got great conformation including a perfect bite, which she passes on to her offspring. Fabby has a great reproductive history of easy, unassisted births. Actually that may be a bit of an understatement. Several of us have tried, but so far no person has actually witnessed her giving birth. She tends to wait until you go inside for a snack, and before you know it there's a baby standing and trying to nurse. She's had plenty of milk for her crias, which are strong and tend to gain weight from day one. Each of her offspring is a different color, but she has passed on her excellent fleece characteristics, great conformation and outstanding presence to every one. All of her crias have done very well in the show ring. So far three of the four that are of showing age are multiple blue ribbon winners and one is a champion. Fabby produces a winner every time.
