Services
We maintain an inpeccable farm. The fields are picked daily in all pastures. The animals have access to a barn, and two sided shelters. The paddocks are long allowing lots of room to run. We purchase only the best orchard grass hay, and Bar-Ale pellets. We are within a 10 minute driving distance to an excellent camelid vet. Emergency and routine medcial care is easilly accessible. We charge $3.50/day for agisting.
We have 3 stunning herd sires, HVLA Black Jack, Derwydd Bueno's Akupana, and Cinnamon's Legacy. Prior to owning alpacas, I have over 30 years of pediatric nursing experience. I have birthed over 30 cria on our farm. The barn and pastures are located close to the house, animal visibility is excellent. With any birthing difficulties that I cannot handle, again - my vet is a short drive.
We have our fiber sorted on shearing day. I belong to Coarse Broads coop, and have fiber end products from the coop. I also keep some of my fiber, and have it spun into yarn. or made into rovings. Some of my fiber is made into rugs by Ingrid's Handwoven rugs. I also have alpaca/silk felted scarves.
