To begin Sophia is 100% one of the TOP PRODUCTION BREEDERS in Full Accoyo ANYWHERE. Both of her past cria have been FEMALES and a thing of beauty. She is in her Prime at 5 years old.
Sophia's fleece type is usually the topic of conversations in most fleece workshops. She is fine (see her histogram) yet dense with text book micro bundling. She produces a staple length of almost 5 inches before her first shearing. A tribute to her sire, Accoyo McGwire and her grandfathers on both sides Accoyo Victor and Accoyo Vengador.
Today she has turned out to be one of our best breeding females along with her daughter Accoyo White Topaz. Sophia is very large and confirmationally correct. Beautiful head. The type of animal that can be picked out immediately in a large herd in pasture.
Sophia is due to be REBRED to Elegante Vellon Accoyo Warlock. A Full Accoyo male that is just starting his breeding career. Warlock is MAGNIFICENT and a CHAMPION and 2X Blue winner during his Juvie year of showing in high level shows across the country. Planned breeding will occur in November, 2011.
It is Foundation breeders such as Sophia that make our breeding program elevate each season. She freely allows the Elite qualities of the male to shine thru. We are so excited each season to see the new cria Sophia gives up.
