Her Grandmother has produced two dark rose grey herdsires out of 11 time Color Champion Aga Khan and now, her daughter, Almay has produced the same look in Cocoabean! Wonderful maternal line of producing dark, rich colors. Think about the possibilities!! If you want Peruvian and rose grey – this is a WONDERFUL maternal line to have – not to mention the huge bonus of the AGA KHAN! Cocoabean’s sire “The Aga Khan” is an 11 time Championship winner and 5 time Get-of-Sire winner. He is descended from Shere Khan possibly the most famous herdsire in Peru, who sired the Vendagor/Capac line. Aga Khan has many award winning offspring who continue his legacy of success. Cocoabean is stunning and her rich color comes from the maternal side. Her Dam’s sire is a multiple blue ribbon winning dark rose grey and his grandsire is an award winning true black. Cocoabean won 1st and Reserve Color Champion in first 2 shows! She has been bred to multiple color champion Cas Cad Nac’s Golden Haze. He has a great deal of color in his background and we are hoping to replicate the modern dark rose grey color with this breeding. Ian Watt loved the skin follicle test results from this dark rose grey gem!

His 2006 offspring have been winning Color Championships in their respective color classes up and down the Atlantic Seaboard! Considered to be one of THE BEST herdsires in North America. He has produced darker colors than the dam's color on two occasions as of 11/06. The Aga Khan – sold for $217,000 at the Futurity (1/2 price discounts & free breed backs do not apply to this herdsire owned in partnership)

DAM FWD Almay

Color: True Black   ARI# 30594234    CLAA#

We had looked very closely at this gals’ fleece many times as a weanling and we thought it was a deep chocolate brown. After shearing we decided her fleece is black! She has grey in her hips, thighs, and her blanket. What a thrill! Full Peruvian with great color genetics for colorful Peruvians!

Service Sire Cas Cad Nac’s Golden Haze

Color: Medium Fawn   ARI#    CLAA#

He has a great deal of color in his background and we are hoping to replicate the modern dark rose grey color with this breeding.
