Email us about this animal

Boomer is an unbelievable look-alike of his famous sire, Legend's Challenger, whose barn name was "Boomer" before his popularity forced us to call him his registered name. Boomer is another example of us being incredibly excited when we saw that we had another Challenger boy born. Boomer's dam, our Multi-Champion Velvet, brings fantastic genetics to Boomer as well. Every alpaca in her pedigree is a Multi-Champion Producer! Velvet won 3 Championships before she left the showring and she has produced multiple Champions herself! Boomer has been highly praised by every judge who has seen him and his first show season has proven that he has what it takes to stand out in a high-end breeding program. We are pleased to have Kaye and Richard Sanderson of Diamond Rose Ranch as co-owners of this fantastic male. He will continue his show career this spring - come by and take a look at him!

SIRE Legend's Challenger of KPR

Color: Light Silver Grey   ARI# 850569    CLAA#

Challenger has earned the right to be called one of the few Herdsires who continue to stamp out outstanding crias! His 116 crias have earned 337 Show Awards! That averages out to about 3 awards per offspring! Of those, 120 were Champions, Reserve Champions, or Blue Ribbons! (235 were all 3rd and above)And when you consider that some of the Dams have been way below Challengers quality, it elevates his breeding value well above the rest! Challenger seems to throw his fleece character into his cria almost every time, and these characters are just what the judges - and the industry - are looking for! Tremendous density while maintaining great fineness, bundling that is very tight with excellent separation of bundles, a high frequency crimp of 8 crimps per inch, and the curvature that most alpaca owners dream of having in their herd.

DAM Fawn's Black Velvet

Color: True Black   ARI# 824191    CLAA#

Velvet is a great foundation alpaca. Her density is 47.25, her SP is 18.5:1, and her fiber has huge good structured bundles. She is a Multi-Champion winner and every generation behind her is a Multi-Champion Producer! Her sire is the famous PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014, and his fleece character came through with her rich black color! She has a strong black coloring all the way back on her Dam's side. Velvet has already proven that she can throw what she has and what's behind her. Her first two crias are Color Champions!
