Email us about this animal

Cutie Pea is a fantastic grey female with strong grey genetics. She comes from championship grey bloodlines with her sire being Legend's Challenger of KPR and her grand sires being Inca Legend and Kaspa. Judges consistently complimented her fleece quality for its combination of fineness, denseness and uniformity of character. With outside breedings to Legend's Challenger being limited to five per year, Cutie Pea is an ideal way to get this prestigious bloodline into your breeding program. Cutie Pea's '09 cria was a true black male out of Patagonia Compadre that was part of our '10 show string. Cutie '10 cria is a true black female (KBA's Pepper) out of the 7X Color Champion Heatherbrook's Mercury. Pepper is a part of our '12 show string.

SIRE Legend's Challenger of KPR

Color: Light Silver Grey   ARI# 850569    CLAA#

Challenger's fleece literally takes your breath away with it's fineness and degree of consistent eye-popping crimp from the top of his head down his legs. It truly has the look and feel of many superior white fleeces. Great density makes this fleece a complete package. He sheared a 4.1 lb blanket of cria fleece alone. Challenger did very well in the showring, and almost every judge remarked on his "superior male development."

DAM Heatherbrook's Black-Eyed Pea

Color: True Black   ARI# 30563971    CLAA#

Black-Eye Pea is a true black with fine fiber, good density, tight crimp, a soft, buttery hand and a great disposition. Pea is sired by Patagonia's Kaspa and her grandsire is El Padre. She definitely has density in her background. Her '07 cria is a spectacular grey female (Heatherbrook's Cutie Pea) who was a multiple winner in the '08 show ring. Her '08 cria is a true black male (Black Legend) out of Legend's Challenger of KPR. He is a part of our fall, '09 show string. Her '09 cria is a light fawn male (Harley) out of High Plains Samson.

Service Sire Our Peruvian First

Color: Beige   ARI# 31116329    CLAA#

"First" is a two time Color Champion and his fleece was the highest ranked fleece in the 2008 National Champions Alpaca Show!!! We have very high expectations for this spectacular male- great head, laid back disposition and very advanced bundling fleece exhibiting extreme density. Though his fleece color is beige; his skin, gums and toes are black. We fully expect him to darken dams while advancing fleece quality which is a great and seldom seen combination.
