SIRE Patagonia's Compadre

Color: True Black   ARI# 818694    CLAA#

Compadre is a magnificent true black herdsire from strong black genetics. He is one of the best alpacas ever produced at Alpacas de la Patagonia. Now he is producing some of Patagonia's best cria and proving his prepotency. He has stamped out in every cria his beautiful head, strong bone, solid conformation, fineness, extreme luster, crimp & lock definition. Compadre also has extremely strong black color genetics. He has produced 100% black when bred to black. Twice when bred to grey has produced grey. When bred to whites, fawns and browns, he has thrown black 41% of the time and so far has always produced cria darker than color of the dam. Combine these traits with his 8 lb shear wt, an adjusted spinning fineness of 18 microns at 2 years of age and it's clear that Compadre is a World Class Herd Sire.

DAM Heatherbrook's Vanilla Bean

Color: Dark Fawn   ARI# 30563810    CLAA#

Vanilla Bean is a stunning dark fawn with soft, uniform, crimpy fleece. She's an attention getter with her nice head and correct conformation. Bean carries strong genes. She is sired by Patagonia's Quijote and her grandsires, Danko and El Mito have produced countless champion offspring.

Service Sire Our Peruvian First

Color: Beige   ARI# 31116329    CLAA#

First" is currently a two time Color Champion and his fleece was the highest ranked fleece in the 2008 National Champions Alpaca Show!!! We have very high expectations for this spectacular male- great head, laid back disposition and very advanced bundling fleece exhibiting extreme density. Though his fleece color is beige; his skin, gums and toes are black. We fully expect him to darken dams while advancing fleece quality which is a great and seldom seen combination.
