About our Alpaca Farm
LAUREL HIGHLANDS ALPACAS is located in the beautiful Laurel Mountains of western Pennsylvania off of State Route 271, 13 miles from historic Ligonier and 8 miles from downtown Johnstown. Pittsburgh is only an hour and a half away. Though we have 17 acres, only one will be dedicated to the business of raising alpacas in order to maintain the natural woodland setting of our property.
Our Mission Statement: It's all about the Fleece! We are dedicated to the principles of the Ideal Alpaca Community by using Studmaster™Males, EPDs and Marty McGee Bennett's Camelidynamics handling techniques to guide us in breeding well cared for alpacas which produce white and light colored fleeces with superior crimp, staple, fineness, density and fleece weight.
