About our Alpaca Farm
Welcome to Morning Sky Farm - home to an ever growing herd of 29 fine huacaya alpacas in white and colors, mainly from Peruvian genetics and infused with Accoyo bloodlines. (Patch hound beagles are bred here, too!) We are located only 2 miles off I-79 (exit 130) and only 2 exits north of I-80 in rural Mercer County in northwestern Pennsylvania, near Goddard State Park.
With an enviable number of females born on our farm over the years, we are able to offer lovely females for sale, as well as breedings to our herdsires... Angelis - a fine, full Accoyo at 17.9 microns from a star studded pedigree, Grand Alero - a dense, white 3/4 Accoyo Grand Master son, and Roulette - a dense, medium fawn with grey genetics stemming from Legacy and Rayo del Sol, and all with outstanding temperament! (Some very promising young males are on hand to check out, too!)
Our goals have never waivered in our constant quest to maintain and upgrade the quality of conformation and fleece produced on our farm, and to offer customer service, education, networking, and mentoring to other farms.
As a way of giving back to the industry, Lynn served on the PAOBA Board of Directors for four years, and currently serves on the PAOBA Breeders' Showcase Committee, and the PAOBA Fiber Committee, and is the coordinator for The PAOBA Planet newsletter. Each year, we participate in Level IV and Level V AOBA certified halter and fleece shows, and have been proud to be among the ribbon winners! In order to stay on top of industry issues, we have attended and hosted educational events. We are hands-on owners, breeders, shearers, fleece-skirters, and show handlers - and enjoy it all!
We cordially invite you to visit the farm or to contact us directly with inquiries about our alpacas; we love showing off our herd, our crias - and our herdsires!
(Morning Sky Farm is also located only a few miles from Goddard State Park/Lake Wilhelm, so bring your fishing rod, or your bike to ride the bicycle/walking trail after you visit - or stop by nearby Culbertson Mill Antiques if that's more your cup of tea!)
