Serenade is a beautifully feminine girl with medium frame and bone structure. She is out of Jericho, a super fine and dense male owned by MFI whose offspring have won numerous awards. Serenade has benefitted from her Sire's fleece both in style, which is narrowly crimped, and with density and brightness. Additionally, Serenade's fleece has a consistent crimp throughout her blanket. We will love having Serenade's genetics here on the farm as part of our production. She is now bred to Citation XL our superior Champion-winning herd sire for a 2011 cria. Our Citation cria have been amazing and have given us superior/elite fleece and fabulous strong boned conformation. We can hardly wait to get them in the show ring in 2011. Jericho is a dark fawn male with a very advanced, elite fleece. His incredible dark fawn fleece won First Place, Color Champion, and Judges’ Choice (there were three Judges) for the overall BEST Huacaya fleece in the 2002 AOBA National Fleece Show, surpassing fleeces of all colors, even white! According to Judge Julio Sumar, Jericho is a bold male with excellent conformation and phenotype. We offer only five outside breedings per year to Jericho and his breedings are already sold out through 2005. We chose three of his first offspring to show and each became a multi-champion…Majestic Meadows Jeremiah (beige), MFI Panera (fawn), and My Peruvian Breathless (grey). He produces champions in light to dark colors.
